i have never been so frustrated

I fucking HATE minigames. Castle Wars, Stealing Creation, whatever. I don't like them, and don't play them. I don't like being dependent on other people to win or to do a task. I'm just not a team player and I never have been, at least where video games are concerned.

But I have to be on the winning game of Castle Wars and fire a catapult in Castle Wars to get my Ardy Cape 3.

Fuck.

I tried today. Got disconnected THREE TIMES. The final time was TWO MINUTES before my team was about to win and I would never have to set foot in that stupid game again.

Guess I'm never going to be able to get my Ardy Cape 3. I am so very sad.

uuuugh.

Runescape is being all glitchy for me for some reason. Idek what the hell the problem is though. Whatever. I'll clear cookies and cache and see what happens. I can't imagine that it'd be the browser, as I've been playing on Chrome for about half a year and nothing like this has ever happened.

So frustrating.

I think I'm going to try and get 99 Farming next year. It's my RS resolution.

I don't make real life resolutions, so this is as close as I'm gonna get to a New Year's resolution.

I haven't posted in a while, I know, I know. But I'm trying to get all my pre-reqs done so I can apply to nursing school, so I thought that it was best if I canceled my membership and concentrated on school this past semester.

Totes got all A's. Or all A's and a B. Stupid history. But I renewed my membership yesterday.

I think I'm going to go for an easy 99 first.

After all, woodcutting is already 81, so I'm almost halfway there!

Honestly, I couldn't be bothered about this weekend. I just had better things to do, tbh. I did get the big bonuses used up and got a couple levels all across the board, but nothing too big. I suspect I'll be playing a lot more as soon as I get into a decent routine with college and classes, since I have massive breaks between classes and no access to WoW at the library.

I did however, change my character's clothes and hair, then took a picture of it for my Adventurer's Log. That thing is so handy. :)

I've still got lots of smithing to do (ew), but I think I'm gonna hop on WoW for a bit instead before switching back to RS this evening so I can WC while I read and annotate a couple of articles for class.

Inflation :)

In less than twenty minutes today, I made back the around four million gp that I spend buying my whip last month. :) I love this stuff. Tbh, I may have been saving all the high level herbs and almost 200 bird's nests that I got from managing my kingdom. So yay for inflation.

So on the double exp weekend, I think I'm going to dungeoneer, if I can find a decent party, and if not, I might just use up some of the 2K coal in my bank earning the magical 69 smithing, though I think I might plant some fruit trees to get the 2.7 multiplier on farming before it drops, assuming that's going to be where it starts again.

I've still got a little bit to go on my Slayer task. Every cave horror I kill, I quickly look through the drops, hoping for that stupid black mask lol. Still haven't gotten one, but hope springs eternal.

Hm, I suppose I could do slayer on the DEW, but I bet all the damned monsters are just going to be completely swamped.

Also, the ten percent exp boost for Summoning instead of the normal one? TOTAL RIP OFF. That's so stupid. I'd been making sure I have at least 100 of every single color charm, hoping that when the DEW came around again, I would at least have a decent chance of getting the coveted Bunyip. Stupid Jagex and their changes. :/ Ah well. A ten percent boost is better than no boost, I guess.

Haven't Died!

I'm still here. I've just been super busy at work, since everyone's getting ready to go back to school and I've been playing World of Warcraft in the free time that I do have, but now that the double exp. weekend has been announced, I might start stocking up on supplies or just get my Dung prestige maxed so I can get the most Dunj exp out of that weekend.

I'm planning on playing at little, even if it's only finding the penguins. (I say that now, but I doubt I'll stop at that. Lulz.)

I fucking hate cannons. And I fucking hate kill-stealers. Like you, LUISANG3LA. You giant douche. Fucking assholes. UGH.

Ugh. I've been sick for the past few days. I dunno what it is but between that and still having to go to work, I haven't been feeling up to playing Runescape. Still kinda sick, stuffy nose and the like, but lots and lots of hot tea is helping, along with some Sudafed.

Anyway, I did penguins yesterday, then logged. Got a Prayer level from that, yay! And then started a quest, Glorious Memories, but my head hurt too much to finish, so that's what I've been doing today. Speaking of tea... I must make another cup. My sinuses are killing me. I really liked this quest. I'm such a sucker for flashback scenes, NGL. But I've always liked finding out the back story of characters, on Runescape and otherwise, as it helps to flesh out whatever world you're in. Besides, it had Baba Yaga in it, and I'm always fond of tales with Baba Yaga in them. :)

I've been debating about taking screenshots for this bloggity blog. Mostly I do quests, and frankly, if you wanted to see screenshots of someone doing quests, you could just look up a quest guide. There's only about a billion and one of them out there. So screenshots only when I see a weird glitch, or just feel like going through the trouble of taking, cropping, uploading, and linking said picture.

I'm still procrastinating finishing that stupid slayer task. Ugh, 144 blue dragonssss. Kill me nowww. I can do it. Just think about the experience!
